About the Ministry
About the Ministry
The Ministry of Labor is the government institution responsible for regulating the Omani labor market and developing national cadres in line with Oman Vision 2040. The Ministry aims to balance the demands of economic development and the workforce needs. It is also tasked with formulating employment policies and plans and the general policy of the national workforce to raise its efficiency, and setting the frameworks and standards for implementing career planning and administrative development concepts in both the public and private sectors.
