About the University

Sultan Qaboos University is the first government university in the Sultanate of Oman. It received its first batch of students in 1986 to raise a knowledgeable society capable of keeping pace with global challenges. It includes a wide range of colleges and specializations that meet the needs of the Omani and global market and is considered a leading centre for scientific research and innovation.
