Discover Oman through the Mawasem Pass Platform

Al Batinah South Governorate kicked off the activities of the “Go South Al Batinah 2025” festival entitled Discover Oman, under the patronage of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, in the presence of His Excellency Engineer Masoud bin Said Al Hashmi, Governor of Al Batinah South, in addition to a number of officials, participants and supporters.

The efforts made in the festival program seek to highlight the cultural, tourism and natural elements that Al Batinah South Governorate has to offer, to promote domestic tourism in the Sultanate of Oman, and to open opportunities for the projects of the people of the governorate, as the festival programs varied in their stations and fields between cultural, artistic, sports and heritage, to include all segments of society.

To follow the schedule of events and activities held throughout the festival, interested parties can visit the official pages of Al Batinah South Governorate on social media platforms and scan the QR code to reach the “Mawasem Pass” platform, which includes all the events, with details such as: Time, date, location, and the ability to purchase tickets directly. Everyone can create an account on the platform to follow the latest events and activities according to their interest. 

The Mawasem Pass platform has succeeded in facilitating the follow-up of events and activities, sparking the public's interest in visiting the events thanks to the outstanding media coverage, and has made the process of obtaining tickets more organized and faster, as a result of the digitization of the service, which has won the public's satisfaction.  

Al Batinah South Governorate has been keen to highlight the most important activities that distinguish the wilayats of South Al Batinah, and has succeeded in attracting large numbers of visitors from inside and outside Oman, as part of efforts to invest in cultural tourism and enhance the role of the the governorates in the development and growth of projects.
